Tomb Raider Anniversary help please.
 

I have this game for the pc.

Quite simply I can't get Lara to grapple. Am I doing something wrong :?: :confused:

When there is a gap that needs to be bridged, she can grapple across. I am making her jump away from the platform that she is on and then hit the grapple button, but she does nothing and falls.

Is there a sequence she is supposed to do :?: Does she first have to find a grapple to use or should she be equipped with it automatically :?:

For anyone that knows the game. I am in the gym at the mansion.

Can anyone help :?:

You need to be close enough to the grapple point - designated with a little blue eye (IIRC).

If you do it within radius, she will automatically grip 8)

You normally hit grapple mid-jump BTW ...

P.S. I'm given to understand that women dislike being called the wrong name. Maybe if you refer to her a Lara you will have more success. HTH

Hmm. I get the blue eye that you mention. But as I said, when I make her jump and then hit the grapple button she doesn't do anything. I've tried plenty of times waiting at different times before hitting the grapple button. I assume then that she is equipped with the grapple from the start and I don't need to go off and find it anywhere like I did the guns :?:

Nope, you have it as standard ... just try going at different angles ... you don't sound to be doing anything wrong, just keep trying ...

I binned it and went on the main game. It worked straight away. :smt102

You have to find the grapple in the manor game, its in the gym right up in the ceiling. It's tricky to get it and not worth it really, the manor game doesn't really help alot.

Personally i think the ape just doesn't know how to manipulate a woman. :)
