Sunday 24th - Hawes?

Unless it's bucketing down tomorrow, I'll be giving the new bike a run up to Hawes from Ripon area.

Anyone free/going already/fancy coming?

Carl

I might be up for a blast Carl, depends on how I feel in the morning, plus whether or not the weather is any good. Still pretty blustery up here at the moment.

Hi Rob,

Won't be too early. Probably set off between 12 and 1pm.

Got some tinkering to do in the morning. Tyre pressures, Oil and stuff.

I'll check the forum at 10 ish.

This is a distinct possibility.

It's the missus hen night tonight so she'll be having a mahooooosive hangover tomorrow *snigger snigger*.

Weather dependant (not looking too bad at the mo') I'll try and get up there.

Have got to take the kids for a push bike rided in the morning but will try and be there... What time are you thinking of getting to Hawes?
I think I'll come down via Bishop Auckland, Barnard Castle, across the A66, stangfoot, Feetham, Murker, over the ButterTubs then drop down into Hawes...

Fist job is to replace the baffels...

Yep, the roads are delicious! Takes about 45 minutes to Hawes from Ripon/Bedale. So I'd expect to be there about 1 ish. The loop over to Devils bridge then through Segburgh and then back to Hawes is exactly 50 miles so might tack that on too. Prolly Spend about an hour there Chewing the proverbials and then head back or over.

Rob, fancy meeting at the old (now closed down) BP garage on the A1 Where the B6267 goes underneath? Good road over to Masham about 12 ish?

Or maybe Micky D's at Leeming Bar then on to Masham. Either suits me.
