Best Place to advertise bike for sale?
 

I am trying to sell my SV650S. So far I have only advertised i ton here and on Visordown. Is there anywhere else apart from Autotrader, MCN and Ebay that anyone knows of? Where did you find your bike advertised before you bought it (if it was not new)?

Try your local papers and MCN, I wouldn't use Autotrader as there are renowned to be read by scammers and they do nothing about it for your security!

Any free advertising is good.Once you start paying MCN or other fees you are under pressure to cut your losses and shift it cheap.No point in laying out £100 in adverts over several weeks or months just to get £99 more on your price.

I have put it on Piston Heads now aswell. May put it in/on adtrader aswell.

I used Autotrader when i flogged my last bike, turned out to be a waste of money. All I got were timewasters or marketing calls, wont be bothering again.

Local rag is always a good bet. Also do you have any local training centers with for sale boards? Went for PX in the end and will be doing so from now on as its so much less hassle and worth losing a few quid on.
