Pelican case

to use as a top box - I figure my top box may be a bit flimsy.

pelican case:

really rugged in the event of an off. Drill some holes in the bottom, fashion some brakets & behold - a cheap top box....hopefully! ;o)

It's not technically "Bike Kit" & it's got the bonus of being much cheaper than bmw/touratech/metal mule etc...

Re: Pelican case

Use these all the time for transporting camera kit around, bloody good kit. Completely waterproof as long as the rubber seal is still in pace as well.

When I say completely waterproof, I mean I've seen them dropped in a lake and sink, when fished out the contents were still dry...

Of course, drilling big holes in the bottom may invalidate this claim...

I have a Peli 1300, probably not big enough for a top box great size for video camera and stuff.

We're UK suppliers of Peli cases, and I get a 27% discount. Want me to check a few prices for you on a new one?

Yeah - if you could! I'm probably looking at something around the 1500/1600 range.

Thanks

Dirk
