Kingston hospital- parking

Hi Chaps,

Got an out patients appointment tomorrow at Kingston hospital , My question is does anyone know what facilities there are for parking bikes there.

Obviously I cant afford to mortgage so as to park my car there! :crutches:

Thanks in advance

Enter from Galsworthy rd, at the T juction turn left, the main car park is on the left ahead, but has no bike bays as such, however if you park on the long island infront of you at that T juction you shouldn't have a problem, I have several OP appointment there a few years ago, and always used that bit ( I think some of the staff park their bikes there as well).

If not and you want another option, turn right at that junction and there is a few spaces at the end of the pushbike bays that are used for bikes.

Oh and it's pay & display, but if you aren't in a car space, don't bother I never did and was fine.

Cheers Mark.

You can park your bike at the university - its free, and you dont need a permit. No-one would bother it there, and its quite safe. From the Uni you could get a bus to the hospital.

Might be a little inconvinient to get the bus, but its just a thought

Not at Kingston Hill campus...the bike bays always seem filled with ******* scooters these days. :smt013

They are always parked really badly and i don't want to shoehorn my bike in as im sure the scooter gimps would see fit to customise it.

I check the bike bays then just stick it in the staff bays.

For those who wish to know...

There are a couple of bike parks, i used to one opposite the royal eye care unit. it was labeled as a staff car park, but thats where i got directed. :D even has a mini shelter, scaffold poles for locking and bollards.

Matt...you hold him down and i'll pummel him! :p

There's a few decent bikes. A ZX7R, 2 R6 and a GSXR600. Sadly lots of scooters......the vermin of the bike world.
