Insurance - theres always a problem.
Well, 3 weeks after the engineer made it out to look at my bike, I get my offer letter in.
Wasn't for the amount I had thought I agreed of £3275, was instead for the lesser amount of £3272. Then I remembered that he had originally valued it at the first figure based on 5k miles on it - the lower figure was derived based on the tru mileage of 12k miles. so £3 for 7k miles :) Did notice however that they have made a mistake, and list my excess as £100 instead of £250 :) Now the problem I referred to. Can find ALL the documentation - except for my V5, must have mis-filed it after I got my new Tax Disk in August. So time to turn the house upside down. Still no news on buy-back offer |
Re: Insurance - theres always a problem.
I haven't heard a thing from my insurance company since they told me it was written off, but I can't do anything about sorting a new one yet as I'm still house bound, so it aint a problem.
Nice result there Soul, hope I'm that lucky & I hope you find the V5. |
Re: Insurance - theres always a problem.
I had to phone them teice to chase the letter up - my insurance broker even chased them up too.
