Metzler Z6's on my GSXR

Any reason not to ? I cant think of one it just seems wrong... they do them in the sizes it needs and I have two big bike trips planned this summer and I can do both trips on one set of these, whereas I'll need two rear Diablo Corsa III's and the Z6's are cheaper than the diablo's.

Dont see why not; just remember they wont cope with as much power as a sporting tyre (more prone to sliding). Give it a go! I would

Oh, if you fit them, and they feel a bit odd at first...stick a bit more air in them than 33 / 36 (f/r). Im at 36/40 not, feels miles better

im on the Z6's at the moment, you get some monster tread depth.. after my off i lost confidance in them but it was on ice.. and i doubt many tyres can maintain grip on sheet ice  so its more to do with me on the confidance issue, as for the tyres there is loads of grip all over even to the very edge (tested ) although i wont be renewing them this time as im going for the B021's but i highly rate them.. i suppose with the nimbleness of your 750 you will be able to get good results from them.. ONE THING though.. diesel and crap from the road takes ages to wear off these tyres on wet rides to the point where i have to hose them when i get home sometimes

go for it if its cheaper, the z6 is a good tyre and most modern tyres will out perform there riders anyhow.

You may want to consider Conti Road Attacks (very good for spirited riding on my MT-03 in wet and dry, no chicken strips over the winter months, cheaper as well) or the Avon Storm STs. Both should give you plenty of milage.

I'd be very interested on how you get on. I only get 2 - 2.5K from a rear Corsa III on my gixer, but its a fun milage on a cracking tyre.

I have 120/70 and 180/55 on my bike - they do make Z6 in this size - I went for Road Attacks and these are only just starting to square at 4000 miles - should easily get 5-5500 out of them. Go for it! :D

Road Attacks for me, But there is something to be said for just going with what you have confidence in from the start.
trackday on my road attacks yesterday I couldn't have asked for anything more. (& always happy on the road too)

My ex was doing trackdays on Diablo Stradas, which are the same tyre as the Z6, fitted to her old Daytona 600. She never had a problem and she's not afraid to lean it over or wind the taps open.

They'll easily except the power, your GSXR isn't a traction controlless MotoGP bike! The new Brigestone 021's are also very good, I feel that they are better but tyre choice varies from rider to rider.
