Please HELP!
 

While fitting a pair of LED indicators yesterday and eventualy working out how the resistor fits in and works only 3 leds light up on both indies at the front when using the switch but when the alarm armed all the LEDs lit up?

then after taking off the wiring to solder up i started to reconect everything back up and neither of the front or rear right side would work, left hand as before flashing ok but only 3 leds lit up then something happend that has is totaly baffled took the keys out and the alarm arms no indicators! 30 seconds latter alarm sounds and i cant disarm, after 30 seconds of it going off i can disarm and turn the ingnition on the rev counter goes up to 7 then slowley comes down and CHECK is displayed bike wont start.

Today checked the wiring and found the rear wires where touching so split them and the right side indicators now work, ive now put the origanal indicators back on and they all work hazard and turn so i know its not the relay, still the alarm is the same though its a datatool system 3 and ive checked there troubleshooting advice and it says the main fuse is blown if no indicators flash, checked it seems ok and have changed it but still no joy.

Any ideas as i dont have much hair but what ive got im pulling out :(

do you have good tight connections on the battery? The rev counter normally pops around to 7 and then back again after reconnecting the battery. This may be a short in your wiring. Also, check all the fuses if you're had touching wires.

Cheers fella traced it to the fuse for the fuel pump changed it and everything is back to normal. :smt023
