WARNING: Theives About

A serious post guys; perhaps the mods can put this in some other related sections for me?

This morning, Maria's mum went to put the rubbish out and found my bike half uncovered; Some **** has had a look during the night.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR BIKES ARE SECURE; THERE IS A SCUMBAG / GROUP OF SCUMBAGS LOOKING FOR THEIR NEXT ITEM TO STEAL!

Although my bike is locked up quite heavily, I'm still worried. What else can I do? We're gonna block the bike right on with the two cars, make sure no-one can get it out.

Don't wory about it.

I'm always finding my cover half off my bike - generally the local scum from Brixton on the prowl for a quick bit of $$$. If your bike is in chains then the average tea-leaf won't bother & move onto easier pickings.

You've also gone the extra security mile by installling a top box & interesting yellow colour scheme ;o)

You may want to leave the top box unlocked with nothing in so the tea-leaves won't break your lock trying to peek inside.

The topbox dosnt stay on the bike, i always take it off other wise I cant get the cover over. Getting a couple of locks to be extra sure; that way I can pass a chain through the cover holes to prevent it being lifted without cutting.

They'll have my bike...over my dead body

Superglue shards of razor baldes to all the places hey would need to use to get a hand old on it for lifting. That'll teach em if they come back.

But do remember to remove same shards before you ride it wont you.

Or loosen EVERY bolt on the bike so its just hanging together and wait till they lift it and it falls apart like a comedy clowns car would.

then get your Haynes manual out to discver that "refittign is the reverse of removal"
;)

I can understand your "excitement" AlpinestarHero.

However there are ALWAYS thieves about.

Every Minute of Every Hour of Every Day in Every Area.

You just got reminded of it by a disturbed cover.
