Bandito gets an old people annoyier...

I'll do the works, as im bored, and wasting the last 2 days at work.....

Well, picked it up end of Feb 07. One of those "street" editions, comes with topbox and frame, Bandit Tank gaurd, ABS etc. Oil Cooled 650 version, got it for ?5100 otr. (was up for ?5700).

Just about a year later, 14,000 miles, used daily. Added Crash Bungs, rear hugger, double tinted screen, and knee tank gaurd protectors (you can't see them, clear film), and a mudguard extension.

Funnily enough, i think having the topbox on actually suits the general lines of the bike better, but it also enduces a weave on the front wheel if you remove your hands. Guess there is a lesson there

And the latest pic with my new Beowulf Exhaust (without sticker). Top end, i'd say its actually quieter than the standard can, but much better and a very nice note between 4000-8000rpm. I've got the baffle out at the mo, and tbh, its FAR too noisy and loutish for me. But only got one day in the city left, so wanted to scare everyone. I'll be putting the baffle back in though.

I'll get some video clips recorded of the exhaust soon and add them on.

Sounds a damn site better too.

Excuse the chicken strips, fairly new rear rubber, still too salty and slippery to get it over more

Bolts are getting a bit furry, but i clean it every 1-2 weekends otherwise it would be a state.

I know suzuki build quality isn't good, and its fully exposed to everything. London roads covered in salt, dirt, oil, grime etc. Needs a good clean, plus being black if its not clean it looks terrible.

Downpipes are going a bit yellow, but i plan to give them a summer clean up, get a few planels off, get between the gaps. Rear footpegs are 'just' starting to get a little rust, which im not too happy about.

But then 14,000 miles in 1 year in every single weather (inc snow and ice) will do that I guess.

Mudgaurd extension REALLY helps stopping the crap covering the engine bay though. But i've got a brush and scrub behined the exhausts and the sump/block etc...

Nahh general dirt, salt and grim build up. Gonna give them a good polish during the summer, see if i can make them like the top picture again. (Note 3rd pic from the bottom, link pipe Vs 4-1 section  )
