how loud for a track day?
 

hi there. first post on this forum lol!
i have a scorpian race can fitted on my 99 curvy sv, will this be to loud for a track cos they have a 105db limit?

I have a scorpian end can fitted to my Minitwin SV650 carby race bike, it comes in at 101/102 dB so you'l be fine on most trackdays.

Could have sworn I answered in this thread already...strange.

105 is pretty loud. best way to check is fins somebody with a sound test meter (like me :-)) or take a stock can along too so you can swap if its a problem.

My old TL with twin arts was just 105, the SV should be way under, remember its a sliding scale so the difference between 101-102 is less then 102-103 and so on.
