Bungees wanted please
 

I need to get some decent bungees to attach my tailbag to the bike.

Are the ones at places like poundstretcher any good?

you get what you pay for............

you can get a pack of 6 for a quid, these suck, the hooks bend, and once stretched, they dont stretch back

or you can get ones that are about a quid each, which are good.

Oxford also make them, which are very good, they do 3-4 differant lenths

get two decent bungies from Heinegericke or similar and get a cargo net- cargo nets are brill !!

or join the army and get a big cargo net fer free like Richie- you shud see his- heavyduty .


seriously.. get some (a small roll) of that none slip stuff to put over yer bag fairing seat etc - its brill.. then put tail pack on then just cargo net it and it aint goin anywhere- me has toured ireland like that and it didnt move an inch

you can buy it in sheets at wilco or woolies etc.. and buy enough to drape over your back seat and down the sides.. then cut so it doesnt catch exhaust etc.

bungees- £3. for 3 good ones.. reputable place though

none slip stuff.. about £3-£5

and £4 for a cargo net


so about a tenner and you are done for life.! and yer stuff wil be really secure

nothin worse than a slidy tail pack when you on the move. - very disconcerting

I've seen that non slip stuff. Cargo net also sounds like a good idea.

Now where's the shop where I can get all that stuff for under a tenner please?
