And a small bottle of water £1.50. I saw a 'special offer' at Strensham (M5 south, junction with M50 for non-midlanders) of two Kitkats for £1. They're taking the p*ss.

It always amazes me how they can justify the prices, a Burger King or KFC is generally ?1.50 more in a service station than a town centre location.

I have come up with a cunning business plan and one day I will approach the neccesary people and make it work lol. Its genius.

Yeah. ?7 for a 'hot' beef sandwich or ?7.50 for a Wimpy meal. That's almost Birmingham NEC prices ;)

I went to see Oasis at Manchester City Stadium in 2006. A packet of McCoys crisps were £1. You were searched as you went in, not for weapons, but for food & drink, it was confiscated if you had any on you :(

I went to a 'V' festival, same deal ... food or drink (including water) was convicted!!

At least at these service stations you are only buying the stuff if you are ill prepared!! ;)

I always get round those food searches - I ask them to show me a certificate to proove their in house food is totally nut free, tell tham a single trace of nut can kill me, which is why I bring my own food.
