Silverstone Monday! What tyres!

Okay Looking at the weather, do I leave the wets on the bike or put Super Corsa tyres on?

The problem being I have only set of break disks, still not been able to get hold of a second set yet!

So put the dry's on and hope its stays dry, or go for the wets and assume rain to beging with! The lateste weather is sunny, with heavy showers:(

I would opt for WETS lol

Its raining right up until the end of monday apparently, then its sunny and hot for the rest of the week....suprise suprise

Our only hope is it blows over quicker then they have forecast, making monday dry. I wouldnt hold your breathe though

I have no brake discs. I do however have break disks you can borrow. Rich tea biscuits, a drinks too wet without one...

I would suggest the best tyres would be a good intermediate, such as a decent road tyre for the pace you're likley to be doing. But if that's not an option you'll have to take a gamble one way or the other I guess.

looking at forecast, I am going to put a wet in the front and dry in the rear.

You only have to change one wheel at the start of day then ;)

If you want an and-or, again, from forecast - wets.

But to be fair, it doesn't take long to swap a set over.

Unfortunately I don't have any intermediate tyres. So I am taking a set of ropey wets and a set of good wets .. I intend to start off with the ropey wets whilst I am feeling my way round and if it starts drying out! :)

If the rain is set in, then I'll move to my good wets and my main bike! :D

Look at the forecasts on Sunday and make a final decision then, but as it stands one wet and one dry covers both bases! ;)
