Gears
 

Hey people my sv is giving me nothing but problems this year. Newest is the gears, goes into 1 then to 2 struggle for rest, then comin back down is a struggle all the way.
The gear pedal moves freely, when you move it up or down it just does not do anything theres no clicking into gear, grinding or any noise.
Any ideas would be greatful.

Check the basics first.

1. Chain Tension
2. General state of chain, is it clean and lubbed properly
3. Check your oil level, to much oil results in a notcy gear change
4. Check and adjust your clutch.
