FS365 - Apply it wet or dry?
Please vote? I have always let the bike dry before spraying on WD40, or nowadays I use FS365, but in a recent thread someone said it should be put on wet? Someone else disagreed, and I don't think we ever came to a conclusion.
I know ACF50 is better, but I don't do enough winter miles to need to leave the bike with muck/salt on it for any length of time. I wash it after each wet ride or rinse off the salty dust after each dry ride in the winter time. |

Dry. Its water soluable, you dont want to put it onto a wet bike, it'll drip straight off again with the water run off I would think.

Re: FS365 - Apply it wet or dry?
Not really familiar with what FS365 is (perhaps I should look that up before posting?!?!? :D), but if it is some of that winter wax stuff, I can't see any reason why you would want to do it wet?? ... if it provided a seal, surely it'd lock the water in!!??
As it is a water dispersant, you can use WD40 wet, but it is better dry. |

What Fizzwheel said.
Which is exactly what the bloke at Scottoiler said when I asked him this exact question! |
