Wanted : English Springer Spaniel Pup
 

Alright guys..

I'm after a mutt. Specifically an English Springer Spaniel. If any of you ORG'er's know of any local breeders, or friends that are looking offload a pup, let me know.

- Preferably a dog although a lady mutt is ok I guess..
- I will want to have a look at the conditions its been born in (ie: with mum)
- A decent pedigree is an added bonus..

Looking to pay a good price so want a bit of quality in return if you know my meaning..

Good choice, I'd love a springer :)

Have you had a look in any shooting mags? They usually have a lengthy list of breeders and pups for sale.

I've had a look at some of the shooting websites and most seem to only offer pups to 'working homes'.. will keep looking tho'.. :)

Have a look on that forum, amazing people who have some in foster homes, pedigrees, all sorts.

I have a mad Springer and love him to bits, you will have one loyal and loving dog with ALOT of energy :)

good choice,

I have a 5yr old made ESS and love him to bits. the friendliest most docile and funny breed you can get. Boundless energy as well so you will need to walk him a fair bit.

I can take mide on a good 6 mile run and he wont even be bothered, ans willing to go again after a quick drink.

I had a flick through one of YC's mags and found a good many pages in there on dogs for sale, including new breeds that are apparently accepted as working breeds now including "springadors" craziness!

I wish my circumstances were different, I'd have one in a flash. They're a brilliant dog, sharp as a pin, full of beans. Great company.

My Springer Spaniel was given to me buckshee as she was gun-shy and "useless" to her former owner. Maybe worth asking around rough-shooting circles? It won't be a puppy though.

My favourite dog would be a cross between a border collie and a springer spaniel - a boing spallie?:confused:

That certainly would be dog that went boing, with all that energy! It'd be bouncing off the ceilings!

How about springer collie, nice and simple :lol:

my uncle trains springer spaniels (dont know if they are english or if that is a different breed to scottish born ones) for foreign rich peeps. He has 17 at the moment in his converted double garage. He does all the shooting hunting stuffwith them but they are not pets. He had the mum of a litter as a pet - mad as a bucket of frogs.
