Recommend me an inexpensive powerwash please

Can org members recommend me a cheap power wash that I can use to clean my SV650 please.

I've tried cleaning gloves and sponges of all sizes and cant get into all those nooks and crannies and underneath the bike. Although it wont be easy to get a hose pipe and mains from my house to the bike, I'm thinking a power wash (not too powerful) may be my only option.

Seen this on Argos's website:

All helpful comments appreciated.

I tried a 5L pressurised sprayer (like you use to spray fences / insecticide) but it doesn't have enough power.

All ideas are welcome.

Don't use one, get a long bristled scrubbing brush.

With power washers you take all the grease out of bearings and such, do more harm than good.

Thanks Chris :)

No one else has pointed that out.

you only take the grease out of the bearings if you wash those bits with it, for general cleaning just use it on its softest setting, it will be fine. I use a Karcher one for cleaning the Kwak. much quicker than a hose at shifting dirt.

I got a Karcher from ebay - absolutely GREAT! was in a box and paid ?35 for it, does 330l/h and will do most of the jobs you need

I can proudly say that i'm the only house in my neighborhood with white flags in the garden now lol

also cleans the bike in no time :)

I had a Karcher and it packed up in no time. Then a laver(?) and that leaked everywhere. So I bought a cheap as chips power devil. The wheels have broken off and the case is mullered, but it works as good as ever 2 years later.
Then again I don't clean my bikes, the dirt falls off eventually anyway.

make sure you get a leccy safety RCD trip thingy too, unless your house fuse box has one protecting the circuit you will be using.
