Van Tyres for a tranist
Right I now have the van, but I need tyres for it. I'm after some part worn tyres at the moment, to keep cost down. I'll put some new tyres on when I have more money.
So any ideas for getting hold of part tyres in North London, Herts/Bucks area? Its kinda urgent as the MOT is next Monday, I know one tyre needs replacing. |
Re: Van Tyres for a tranist
I know Drayton Tyres in West Drayton are cheap as chips for car tyres and they do part worn. Not sure what size they go up to but could be worth a call.

Is a tranist a person who holds a negative view towards trannies? ;)

Thanks I'll give em a call tomorrow, anyone know anywhere closer to home?
I have no clue dizzy about your post I'm just after round black things, to put on the van so it passes the MOT I have less than week to get this done and no more days off. |
Re: Van Tyres for a tranist
I assume you will have to pay for fitting? YOU might find the differential between some part-worns and cheapo new (inc fitting) is not that much.
Another idea is to buy complete wheels with tyres already on from a breakers yard .. |
Re: Van Tyres for a tranist
No idea on where but I've been using el cheapos on my truck and they last just fine regardless of what people say!

Re: Van Tyres for a tranist
Swap your dodgy tyres with ones on "Work" van. They will never know

Re: Van Tyres for a tranist
No idea what make, and I can't be arsed to go putside, but the tyre place gave me all that about the branded ones lasting longer. They probably do but if it's in proportion to the price I'll eat my hat. The value goes up a lot when I fill the tank so I'm too mean to put anything pricey on! Handlnig is crap inteh wet but then it's not a car anyway.
