Tyres in Southampton
 

I've just change my Z6's at 7k (but with probably a further 1000 remaining on the rear) for BT021 for ?160 on the bike at Cox's Motorcyles in Eastleigh near Southampton.

Tyre prices seem to have dropped \\:D/ as I was quoted ?183 for BT020s this time last year.

You have to let us know how the BT021's feel, and what was your reason for chosing them?

Chose them because

1. a friend is pleased with his although they're on a a different bike.
2. they were to-hand and at a good price.
3. gettting good press reviews

Will let you know how I get on with them once the shine has worn off.

The Z6 front was worn flat on the shoulders down to 2mm and was feeling a bit vague when pushed in corners when I changed.

yep i got them done last Wednesday with the same bloke for ?166

he has a bit of a weird set up, tyre's r us, cox's and Eastleigh motocross centre all in one

I'm getting on well with them, its given my cornering confidence a huge boost

Did you go there with wheels in your hands or ride in / ride out?

ride in and ride out, i dropped my bike there at lunch time and came back and got it about 4:30pm
