You sure the battery is good? Is the key turning all the way? Any signs of life at all, no clicks of flashes from anything?

Re: 2003 sv 1000s no starting
As I said in your other thread, I'd wager main fuse is blown.

Re: 2003 sv 1000s no starting
double checked all fuses under seat next to battery, nothing blown

Re: 2003 sv 1000s no starting
My other halfs pointy died with something similar, all the lights were blown, dash lights, headlights, speedo everything, nothing worked.
Called out the RAC and replaced the blown 30amp main fuse and bike started fine. But then it died again, eventually traced the cause to a loose positive terminal on the battery, so have you checked that the battery terminals are done up tight and free from corrosion ? |
Re: 2003 sv 1000s no starting
Main fuse is on the relay, not next to the battery, on the curvy anyway.
