Loud pipes and slipper clutches (new BMW)
The new 190bhp BMW S1000RR. Wow, just wow! This really is what Mrs Wyrdness calls 'bikeporn'
Looks like a F-117A in bike form. Wonder if it's invisible to radar :D http://www.motorcyclenews.com/upload...1000RS%206.JPG http://www.visordown.com/news/images...-superbike.jpg Edit: More info from Visordown. |
Re: Loud pipes and slipper clutches (new BMW)

Re: Loud pipes and slipper clutches (new BMW)
=P~=P~says it all really.

Re: Loud pipes and slipper clutches (new BMW)
chains are more efficient than shaft, no gyro effect either, all about the power

Re: Loud pipes and slipper clutches (new BMW)
Very nice. Just a shame they didn't make it a V4. Id be able to live with one of those ha ha.
I dare say that bike would sell like hot cakes if it was competitively priced.... Only time will tell if its at the £9k mark. |

Re: Loud pipes and slipper clutches (new BMW)
I think RC8 price band is more likely. Great looking bikes, I wonder how long it will be till they win the WSB title. Not long probably.

Re: Loud pipes and slipper clutches (new BMW)
Why hasnt it got a funny front end? I was rather hoping BMW were going to stick with their funny front end philosophy with their superbike
Can understand why they used a chain instead of shaft drive though. Does it come with heated grips :king: Matt |
