Honest opinions on this ebay pic please

I've upset someone by some constructive criticism of his ebay listing:rolleyes:

But look at the pic on this. It's a screen for a D675. OK if you know what you're looking for then the pic may not be relevant but if so then why post a pic at all, especially one that looks like a dead jellyfish? I like to see what I'm buying even if I know what I want.

Neither pic is, in my opinion, good enough to judge the condition of the item from.

did he focus at all when taking that pic.... made my eyes hurt

but in all fairness he did put a link to another photo which is better, but not the best in the world.

I wouldn't buy it because of the pic.

Me neither. Even the link to the other pic is not confidence giving... the inmportant bits (i.e. where it fixes to the fairing) are covered and so you can't tell if there are any cracks on any of them.
Something the seller could then falsely claim had happened in the post and therefore none of his responsibility if it turned out there were some and you complained about them.

Shooting himself in the foot with it really though, a better photo would generate more interest!

It isn't that cheap.

The ad says 'a better picture can be seen here' - doesn't say that this is the same screen.

The 'better picture' is on a Triumph dealers web site, so it's not the actual item that he's selling.

I wouldn't touch this one with a bargepole as he obviously can't be bothered to provide a decent photo.

+1 Surely not difficult to get a clear picture in this day and age, even with just a camera phone.

I would want to see a clear close-up pic of the item I was buying and not a library pic which the link pic effectively is.
