Message from Kinvig
Just spoke to Dirk on the phone - he asked me to post on here that he is OK. I said I didn't want to go on a Suzuki forum as I ride Triumph's and BM's and don't like to mix with you riff-raff, but said I would as it's him :D.
Anyway - in case you don't know, he trashed his bike yesterday ( his fault - no surprise there then ;) ), got himself all bruised up but is alive and err, drunk now actually. Bike requires some 'tweaking' but will live to see another day. Now stuck in the Ukraine for a few days. I hope for his sake that that is the end of his bad luck! Laters, Pluck |

Thats about the long and short of it. His trip isn't over - he's going to carry on and good on him too. I like to think he's 'in training' for when the going gets really tough - those 'roads' in Kazakhstan are a nightmare and will really test his metal :smt045 Pluck |
