Supermarket etiquette
An apology, of sorts.....all i wanted was milk.....
In the supermarket the other day, I was looking at the milk, and trying to work out which green 6 pinter was the normal, non-organic, non-energy-inseminated variety. OK, it was Waitrose and I wasn't familiar with the labelling, anyway.... Just as I selected my desire, some jodpur-clad lady waltzed up and pinched it, right in front of my very eyes. THE LAST ONE. This narked me, somewhat, as you can imagine. I wanted 6. Not 4+2 or a combination thereof. So I did what any other theft victim would have done of course, and tailed her around the shop until she left her trolley, when I claimed my milk, swiftly paid, and left. Sorry if that was you, but quite frankly "I SAW IT FIRST" (and its not theft unless you bought it) and I've been wanting to tell you since Wednesday, if that makes any difference. I am sorry. But not a lot. |

Re: Supermarket etiquette
That's bloody brilliant!
Oh how i laughed while I was reading through that. Just this long story about you stealing her milk which culminates in you stealing it. Love it. |
Re: Supermarket etiquette
Agreed, that was quite funny. Although I would never have done anything like that myself.

but....... you were too slow, and beaten to it by a old lady, simply seeing somthing does not entitle you to it.......... you hesitated, and you lost out far and square........ but then lowered yourself to a commen theif [-X (very funny though) |
Re: Supermarket etiquette
oh no ooger :(you are a ditherer  you position yourself right in front of t he milk and spend 5 minutes looking at them all, people cant get past you, its milk ffs ;) then they take charge, take their milk and you steal it :-s shame on you. You would be in casualty if you tried that up here lol.
did make me giggle. people with jodphurs should not be allowed in shops, its just wrong and smelly (unless they are clean jodphurs) |
Re: Supermarket etiquette
Scene - Jodphur Lady's House (Interior)
There is the sound of small children sobbing. Billy - But Mummy, why has Jesus taken away our milk? Timmy needs it for his rickets so. Jodphur Lady - Be strong little ones. There will be money again next wednesday... |
