Help, chec message and bike wont start

ok, heres the problem. i was soldering my indicators back on whilst they were plugged into the bike, i only did one wire and crimped the rest but it get very hot. anyway, i go to turn it on and press the alarm and it beeps four times when its only ment to beep once, so i put the key in and turn it to find the bike didnt make noice, people with FI bike should know that it adjusts it self when you turn the key, so i look at the revs and its at exactly 7k then goes back to zero and my clock is stuck at 1:00 with the chec message being displayed! so it wont start but turns over, normaly when the immobiliser is on it wont turn over. and now the alarm wont even disarm! i put the key in and turn the ignition on and the bike beeps once and then i can set the alarm again. also when i turn it off the digital display has some bits still on for a while but they soon fade. anyone got any ideas? ta

What got very hot?
Have you checked the alarm book to see what 4 beeps means?
Seeing as it doesn't prime, ('adjust'), check fuses.

+1 on checking all the fuses, including the inline one for the alarm. If the wires got hot they may be shorting. Check the connectors for the wires that used to plug into the indicators (You should find a black and either a white or grey connector under your seat unit, and the same (I think) behind your headlight. Make sure they haven't melted through, as this can give you weird gremlins.

lol its always the way! i fix it and then people post the answer... was the fuel fuse, bit worried on how it shorted though:smt102 could the alarm have though it was "under attack" and blown it to protect the bike?
