divorce

I have filed for one today:cheers:, I thought I would share yippee:-D.

my right hand is in pain from rewriting the blooming form 3 times.
Thank you Scoobs for the forms ;), and Sally for the DIY divorce advice.

Anyone who wants a divorce on the cheap:rolleyes: (no solicitors).
County court (only some do divorce tho)
3 forms to fill, 300 squid, marriage cert (?7 for a copy, that was a good deal I thought!).
I'm happy:D

Have you agreed finances with the Respondent?

If not, Form E beckons.

And if you're seeking any form of pension adjustment order, well there's Form P too. And you might need an actuary to value the pension entitlement.

I save the best wine till last.

You might need a lawyer after all:D:D:D:cool::cool::cool:

How about some pro bono work Ed? :smt077

I have a pension, he doesn't. he won't know anything about anything as it had always been my domain. It seems I was always "wearing pants".
I made him a better human being...pushed him to and started his business. He makes double what I do...do I want any of it NO!

I can make all the money I need myself...and money really does not bring happiness...it's not what you have but who're with that counts:D

Re: divorce

Filling in my divorce forms was one of the highlights of my life. I was so unbothered by the whole process that when my decree came through the letter was handed to me while I was fixing a bike. I read it and threw it in a toolchest drawer, where it lay for 6 years until I was having a clearout - it's now framed and sits behind a cupboard.

I filed for the divorce, but I made her pay for it all.
