Shanghai MotoGP China

You guys waiting for the start?
What do you think Colin Edwards would hold on the front for more than 6 laps if he keeps 1st place? I bet it's going to be all about Rossi, Pedrosa and Stoner battling though. Hope Capirossi and Toseland can stay with front runners though and give them a hard time.

The goat is back.
Give him a set of tyres that last a whole race and he wins it.
Stoner needs to lighten up a bit.Third place on a bike that wasnt quite set up right was a good result, witness how positive VR remains when he struggles for a podium finish.Melandri and co learning how to make the Dukes go a bit as well?

Edwards was disappointing. He could have been on an easy third or fourth.

Rossi showed his class again but Lorenzo would have been on it without his ankle pain. He showed true grit and deserves his praise.

Melandri was on it but his Duke is the fastest so we shall see if he can translate this to a slower curcuit

Most disappointed..............the qualifiers were better yesterday..........more tankslappers than a blonde hitting bambi....lol.
But yes Rossi did have a good race, and Lorenzo did deserve praise with cracked bones and all

I think Edwards shot his bolt today. He can put a quick lap in but in no way is he a race winner...not even close.

He makes a very good test rider but compared to the Lorenzos and Pedrosas or even Melandris he just doesn't have it.

Rossi - what a guy!

Thank goodness for him.

Without him it would be so boring what with his silly waves and big smiles :D

Pedrosa - yawn
Stoner - bigger yawn

Gritty Tough performance from Lorenzo today. I liked the way he saved himself for the last few laps and then made a charge. Thats a thinking rider IMHO.

Yep, I think today's performance is as telling an indicator of his star quality as any of his previous. I think he's a future great, and I really like the kid too, he's got some character.

Good race today I think. Rossi did well to get to the front quickly and once he got there he didn't really put a wheel too far wrong. That long straight and the tail wind made things interesting too.
218mph or something. On 800s! Brilliant.
