Worth the money?

I really like the look of these, im rather tall, and find my legs getting a little cramped on the sv in the current position...not sure how much variation these offer...just seems a little steep in the wallet department!

They're a pretty good price as far as rearsets go, and the idea is to move them up and back for more ground clearance mainly.

Re: Worth the money?

the rear sets are higher than standard pegs/hangers hence why racers put them on so they have more clearenc round bends so ther for these may be worse than standard ones you have on your bike at the minute.

i no they are adjustable etc...but i still think ther will be very little difference/maby even worse than the standard pegs.

A better idea may be to try the rearsets from the naked SV.

I seeee, cheers for the info guys. I may look into swapping them round for naked ones then...although its not all that bad on my legs. Thought they looked pretty good more than anything

Lol yeah they are IMO best looking rearsets for the SV.

Re: Worth the money?

they look good but 1.you dont really need them on a road bike 2.i think you could spend a £150 quid on other bits that would make the bike stand out more rather than just a set of new rear sets and 3. you said you were looking something that would be more easy on the legs i think these will be worse than the standard ones.

don't need them at all, but I still want some!

Aaaahrg trick stuff is calling...

(though my rearsets are already matt black, that's crap from the chain though...)

The Solution is here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SV650...spagenameZWDVW

I bought a set of these 2 weeks ago and fitted them on "upside down" , dropped my pegs down an inch or so and back a bit and made life so much better on my SV .

Re: Worth the money?

But don't go too mad, as before you know it you'll have the ground clearance of a hardly-driveable.
