?400 for a proper Origami was/would have been a steal!! :eye: Its a shame you don't want to go (I am sure you could 'find' the money if you really had to ;) .. bearing in mind I am currently unemployed, it is hardly a wise idea for me to go ), it was a great laugh last time!! :( |

Gutted!!!
Thats just down the road from me, unfortunately i'm working away in bloody Turkey for 3 weeks. Maybe worth chucking this in the south west surfers section aswell, theres quite a few from that area. |
Re: Minimoto this Sunday
Looked at the website but not sure what you're talking about.
Can you explain how much it is including hire? So would I wear my own leathers & helmet? Will I get my knee down? ;) |

As for stuff to take, you can take your leathers, but to be honest, trying to make the 'shapes' in leathers might be a bit tricky!! ;) I have never even entertained the idea of doing it in leathers!! :o If it helps, I wear just a boiler suit with jeans underneath, some old motorcycle gloves, a lid and some trainers. Where it is indoors it is concrete with a protective layer, not tarmac, so you don't need the abrasion resistance of leathers, I have fallen off loads of times in my boiler suit and abrasion has never been a problem! 8) So, bring full leathers along if you like, but bring a boiler suit and jeans and a jumper too (you don't need a boiler suit , it just keeps the muck off the jeans). Oh and yes, I'd be surprised if you DIDN't get your kneedown ;) |
Re: Minimoto this Sunday
don?t wear leathers as it will restrict you....
i usually wear jeans and a old jacket if its cold. the hire bikes are nothing compared to robs RR blue have a go on it! Oh and if you have a go on blues shed youl never get your knee down :D;) |
