Croatia - Bank Holiday Weekend
 

If anyone has a few days off and wants to experience the best coastal road on the planet let me know and I'll post more info :)

My excuse is a few hours work on the Friday/Saturday - so maybe time enough for a ride to Dubrovnik and back.

Just awaiting prices for hire bikes - which may change dates and schedules. Flights at this stage will be from Stansted to Lublijana with Easyjet. Prob departing 22nd back 25th.

Have revised my plan: Heading down Wed Arvo back on Saturday night. Need to budget for flight (£70), accom, 3 days hire bike (poss. Tuono, R1, R6 - £100 - £70 p/d) fuel and food....

Won't be able to make it, too close to my euro trip. This caught my eye as my travel partner fancied Dubrovnic on our bike tour, but given our itinerary it's just too far.

Would definitely be interested in knowing how this goes, reference for a future 'raid' down that way.

Sounds fantastic but you seem to be missing the idea of a bank holiday. i.e. wed - Fri off work & Sun & Mon back home :???: sorry no can do :(

Yeah i know - but a £200 difference in flights and i also wanted the weekend off still :)

Prob head back around Sept if you're interested.

Yeah I know bank holidays do that to prices :mad:
