bike thieves in rushden-northants
 

To those that live in/near rushden/northamptonshire -watch out

We had 2 guys in a red transit with yellow sign writing (looks like a builders van) try and steal a 07 zx6 ninja from outside our office at 4pm on friday.
Theyd got the bike into the back of the van when they were spotted and the whole office (NO JOKE!) went after them!.....

In their haste they hadnt shut the doors properly....

out slid the zx6....


Its not too badly damaged thanks to r&g crash bungs and its owner is just glad they didnt get it.

Theyd obviously been checking out the area awhile as they knew where the bikes were/what bikes were there and how to get a quick exit out our carpark!

Reg number was taken but you can bet it'll be on false plates, just keep a eye on your bikes guys please as next time they might get away with it!

Very lucky there!

I'd rather my bike get chucked down the road than get stolen any day!

We had a local incident where 2 bikes were moved a couple of hundred yards during the night. Plod kept a discreet watch. and 4 hours later a van full of scousers came along and loaded the bikes. Plod pounced.

Still waiting to hear what the magistrates do. Probably award the scousers from public funds for trying to take a few of those nasty loud dangerous things off the road.
