:( cant get onto he site at work anymore. no access to internet options which means i have nothing better to do than work now.

forgot how hard it really is

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....thats so not good......hope my company never do....but......someone from IT is a member on here (not sure on his name though).

There is nothing that is 100% secure.

However, in circumventing what they've put in place, you'd probably get sacked.

Take your pick, put up with the situation & do some work, or move to a different job. :lol:

forgot to tell u i can access the sv home page but not the forum bits and bobs? any ide why this is>? or is there a back door from the home page to the forum page?

Nah, even if there were a 'back door' of sorts, it probably wouldn't work anyway.

Chances are, the software your work is using either sees the word "forum" in the URL, and blocks it, or it recognises the format of the page as being a forum. Your office's IT admin will of disabled access to forums as a whole, except any whitelisted (acceptable to use for work purposes).

This may even be through an enforced proxy, though I doubt it as they've taken the trouble of disabling Internet Explorer options.
