i can't strike up the balls to ask out a bird, how crap am i :(

spoken to her twice as she works down the chippy, had a bit of a convocation with her but just ain't got the balls to ask her

I've run it through my head, just going to come right out with it and ask her, but in front of all them people :smt095

think i will do it Wednesday as im out the country on thursday encase it all goes wrong :)

What do you have to loose?

If you don't ask her, you'll never know. I've been in a similar situation in the past & kicked myself for a VERY long time over it (it would of meant moving to Aus for a year minimum & working over there).

If you do ask, and she says no, well, you tried, she's not interested. Take the turn down gracefully. If she's worth it, keep trying it on, you'll get there in the end.

99.9% of relationships don't last the test of time anyhow. Life isn't for having regrets...

nah its a hard thing to do. Women can be really nasty people when they want to be. I speak from experience as i is a women myself. If you want to ask her out that much then just go in there and do it.

And if she turns you down the first time then keep trying, do not give up if you think she's worth it. Obviously if she really doesn't like the attention then back off, but if she gives you a little encouraging smile she might just be playing hard to get and giving you a bit of a test ;)

Ask her out - but keep it light. ie don't start off with an offer of Opera tickets and a black tie candlelit dinner.....and give her the chance to indicate no easily - but do not be put off from the Chippy by a polite decline, make a game / joke of it and just wear her down every time you hit the chippy.

A mate gave me some advice a few years back which he swore by, but I have yet to put into practice as I was fixed up with the late Missus by then......he said - if asking a starnge woman out the first date should be in the daytime so fix something up for the afternoon, preferably with something "Going on" to help the conversation and to create "a shared experiance" - the thinking being non threatening for her as in daylight! and she knows she will have plenty of time for an easy opportunity to make her excuses well before the kicking out time / legover moment could arise......even if it is a posh restaurant........

Of course 10 Vodkas and a bag of chips of an evening has also been known to work......
