How far would you go to save your lid? (or gloves or leathers).
If something happened to you lid, like it rolled down a hill or something, how far would you go to save it?

I think I would probably end up diving off the hillside to catch my lid if it rolled away - probably injuring myself in the process! ;)

I loves my helmet but knowing my luck it would just bounce off the first rock it came to, wouldn't be able to use it then so probably would just run after it at a leisurely pace and mourn as appropriate #sniff# |

Hehe...
I stopped quickly at a motorcycle accident in which 2 mates were lying injured in the roadway. Tossed me lid on the ground and ran back to the crash to stop cars coming around the bend. Later after the ambulance, police, etc. left I wandered back to my bike to discover my lid was missing!!! Since no one had stopped where my and other bikes were parked, couldn't imagine where it was!!! Till a mate spotted it about a half a mile down the hill. Apparently it rolled under the guardrail. Was somewhat scratched up and the sheild was trashed. Lucky I had a a smoke shield on the lid and a spare clear one with me for night riding... as I was some 500+ miles away from home. And after seeing one mate ride 15 ft. or more on the guardrail....on his helmet....(legs pointing straight up)....I really didn't want to ride without mine. It was a rough climb back up but worth it to have a lid to put on when I got back to the top. LOL |
