Seems that alcohol plays a big part in people who work in Londons live...not having a go at you Stuart, just a general observation about some people on here who work in the big smoke.

I can't make it. Leavers do at college. Next week should be free if its nice, will most likely be in the car, although my collar bone is mending quite well and all things going that way for a bit longer should be back out before summers over :D

Got the quote back today....wait for it...oh yeah its a write off !!!!

Alpha reckon its £4000 of damage - apparently i shattered the radiator and the entire exhaust system needs replacing (don't know how that is £4000) that obviously includes right rearset, front right indicator, top fairing and lower fairing. Pretty sure I could fix that for around £2k tops but what do I know.

This means I will be making a claim, unable to insure anything over a hairdryer for at least the next year and very annoyed and bikeless. :(

Ok just checked literally right now and could insure a sv650 2003 for under £1k third party fire and theft which isn't too bad, it looks similar to most quotes i was getting before I had the off. There may still be hope,,,

As it is all maybe's,might's and if's I will probably wander down to the Hart or Albert in Witham for a couple of scoops.
