Hyperpro Springs SV650

I have a set of progressive springs which came out of a 03 pointy, I am sure are made Hyperpro. (Ruled out Ohlins, Racetech, Hagon) They are 18" in length; I have not removed the old springs from my bike yet so cannot compare the lengths. Can anyone advise me if they have fitted these, 1st if they are longer than the original would i not need the spacer. 2nd I would need to know the air gap and the weight of oil to use.

My Bike is sv650s (06)

SAE 15 for the oil and with the fork fully compressed there should be a 140mm air gap when the oil is at the right level.
As for length, they are a fraction longer than the ones in my SK7 with 700 miles on them. Hyperpro recommended fitting them exactly as the originals were with regards to spacers.
Make sure the heavily coiled end of the spring is at the top!:thumleft:

Rear springs yes but not the front as they are internal obviously!

No, I don't think it would be wise to have paint on springs in oil.
The rear spring is purple though, I fitted mine with the damper turned around so you can't see the warning sticker!
