Prison for speeding V-sign biker

A local Hertfordshire lad goes to jail:

I don't mind the V-signs (or any other signs) but doing 88 in a 30 zone
is irresponsible.

it wasn't his speed, or the V-signs, that got him a stay at HM pleasure i reckon, more likely registering bikes in a false name and having a crappy attitude...

The man may be a nob but what a waste of our hard earned taxpayers money sending him to prison.
Im sure a more productive punishment could be found.

He did very well there! He'll be out in three months, only nine months left to go on his incredibly short ban. I mean, come on! 65 seperate offences at up to 88! He's the luckiest SOB I've read about in a while!

yup, on balance i think I'd rather he was off the roads & also inside as well.
Really does gall that you could get a most of his sentence for one of those offences

Hmm, goes to show that the law in this country is just wrong. He should be banned for life and also have a huge fine to pay. What a c*ck.

I by no means think that his sentence was unjust - seems fair to me - but he didn't actually hurt anyone.

So when say, a car driver does a hit and run and drives off with a bikers foot embedded in their radiator grille and they get let off with a fine, it only highlights how wrong things can go with the justice system.

But 65 times!!? Totally unjust. The twit should never be allowed on the road again, he clearly has no regard for the safety of others or himself. The fact hat he was doing 80 in a 30 is a clear indication that he does not give a **** if he hurts anyone and it was just blind luck that no-one was hurt or killed, nothing more than that.
