Think its cheapest for the first people to book, and then as more people book on it goes up slowly.

I'm thinking of having a go at this, it seems a very good deal. First track day on a bike for me. Have done Silverstone GP in my car, it's a fantastic, quick circuit.

Don't get carried away, and arrive in good time on a bike with plenty of tyres, brakes, oil and petrol. Sounds like you've done a few car ones, just don't go racing straight away, and drop your tyre pressures a little. ANd have FUN.

Thanks for the advice. I shall be taking it very easy. Having four wheels meant a mistake wasn't too punishing. 2 wheels is a whole different ball game:)
What's the score re leathers? Does the zip need to meet at your belly button on a 2 piece? I've got a Dainese combo and the zip starts and ends anbout 6 inches apart.
Also do they noise test?

Do you mean the zip goes round your circumference except for 6" ... or it is 6" long?

The former is fine, the latter is no good. that said, I've never seen them check leathers ;)

It seems Silverstone have integrated a noise tester on the pitwall for 2008, so yes, they do test!
