Eastern Lights

Anyone on here taking part in this years Eastern Lights event in July?

I'm doing it for the first time as I'm actually not going to be at work for it this year.

Did it once a couple of years ago - it had to be the most frustrating ride I have ever been on! Support it in spirit but wouldnt ride it again...

With you on this, Skip. I love the idea of these rides, but the reality is slow, frustrating and totally pants.:(

Of course its bloody slow, it a charity ride not mad Sunday at the TT. Still never done it yet. Will try anything once except incest and line dancing. (which wipes out 90% of Norfolk Life)

When I did it I was near to the back and was slipping the clutch at 15-20mph all the way which on the SV meant lumpy progress...

Hope you enjoy it anyway - its really quite a spectacle! :D
