Bike not a write off (B#gger!) but free exhaust!

...due to microscopic graze to exhaust can - I would post a pic, but lens not good enuf  And I wonder why insurance quotes are so high

Details of my "high speed" accident.........http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=111092

Anyway, purpose of my post is that Dealer suggested a new aftermarket exhaust - I saw something nice on this forum from the Carbon Can Company, and bookmarked their Website http://www.carboncan.co.uk/ to have a look at "in due course" - but it still seems to be under construction :(

Seeing as "in due course" has arrived sooner rather than later......I am after some links to internet sites with nice pictures of exhausts - preferably from the current CCC range - at the moment Google is not my freind :(....although I do not have a budget to play with, the dealer basically said anything is cheaper than OE! (which I can well beleive!).

Also does the dealer have to electronically "rejet" the bike for a new exhaust - the reason for asking is that I may end up in a Baffle in / Baffle out (and maybe a Baffle back in ) situation..........

BTW I have gone off the idea of the Tailgunner, for reasons of Taste! (Must change me Sig!)

This is the nicest CCC can I have seen on this site so far, so much better than the common looking oval replacements. It belongs to 'krhall'....

At what £600 to play with for OEM? surely you can come up with better than CCC what about twin high level cans?

The Carbon Can Co website is still under construction but it has the email and phone number on it, ask them for a quote.

I found that CCC have an Ebay site - http://stores.ebay.co.uk/CARBON-CAN-CO but don't seem to have what I was thinking of:-

From this thread :-

I could of course phone them up - but having no idea what model I want, (and vice verce!) I can see how passing on the ordering detail to the dealer will go.........and in any event as not my money no need to go for an E-Bay shop.

Now I am starting to realise why folk post up pics of their exhausts! Online seems so **** poor........

Go for this one - it's fantastic :D

Or a Beowulf can like I've got has a quite different shape too:

Comes in carbon or stainless (I have the stainless - seems pretty good quality, no problems so far - had it since last November? ish).

If you phone them they're very helpful. I did and they emailed me a few pics to help me decide. I went with the tri-oval one too.
