Grid
Anyone got it?
At first it was marvellous. I loved the way it felt, very arcadey and quick and good to look at. Now though it's starting to get on my nerves. They seem intent on having stupendously fast cars hurtle around tiny courses such as San Francisco, Detroit etc. It makes the game more about luck than skill, the first corner is always 50/50 if you'll just get taken out and destroyed or manage to somehow get through without incident. Bah. Losing my patience with it now. I was doing so well too, finished all teh Amatuer leagues in 1st and had done 2 of 3 Pro Leagues in 1st. Roll on GT5 or Forza 3. |

As I am sure you are aware, it is technically TOCA 4. Only problem is they dropped Brands Hatch from the track list, I wanted to compare the game experience to the real thing, as I think that using a game to learn a track is a waste of time, but would be good to know if I am right or not. Still TOCA 2 + 3 had Brands - have to hunt them down. But GRiD is great - especially on my PC @ 1920X1200 it looks great :) |

Re: Grid
Cars? Rubbish.
I've just ordered TT Superbikes: Real Road Racing Championship. If it's a tenth as good as the original it'll be a hoot - still can't beat 6th place in the F1 TT but the Junior's all mine. |
Re: Grid
Nothing beats Tourist Trophy.

Re: Grid
What, that abortion of a bike game based on GT4? It's awful!

Re: Grid
Looking forward to SBK coming out on the 360 at the end of the month. Hopefully itll be better than MotoGP which 07 was terrible. You can literally come from the back of the pack and lead by the end of lap 1, and provided you stay on, will win the race, even on difficult

TT Superbikes is infinitely superior, with MotoGP4 taking a distant second in an arcade stylee. |
