Catalan MotoGP *SPOILERS!*

Dont scroll down..... Unless you want to know what has happened so far!

What an amazing qualifying session. So many changes is such a short amount of time. Quite a few surprises in the front 2 rows. Nicky and JT especially. Seems like Rossi's special new leathers must be the reason he is slower.... ;)
Oh and what a last flying lap from stoner. Dont like the bloke but fair play to smash the previous record by well overu half a second is some going!

Roll on tomorrow!

I'm not a fan of Stoner either. Nice to see Hayden back up there at the front though. Shame JT couldn't have got a little higher up ;).

Saying that though....what was it, .7 seconds seperatin the top 6?

Should be awesome tomorrow :D

Yeah.

Pedrosa went to soon to make it an interesting race and Rossi was to far back down the grid to catch him.

Rossi of old though,,,the Doctor is back!

JT did very well again and so did Edwards. He has impressed has Toseland and hoping for more.

Regal check out ride by the cherubic Spaniard. One minor error by Stoner under breaking let Valentino right in to the cauldron of the podium spot battle.

For the way he carved through the field Valentino deserved his 20 points today. Casey seems to be getting on top of the handling problems that the GP8 has suffered with and it really is a genuine 3 rider race for the title with the incredible Italian attracting the wiser betting.

Nicky was left feeling like he did in 2004 and 2005 when a satelite Honda was getting home before him(Sete). Dovi rode brilliantly.

So pleased to see Dani ride part of his celebratory lap holding one of the flags with the symbol and message against guard rails. THE biggest killer and maimer of motorcyclists here in Spain.

Rather that than Jorge's cringing Lorenzo Land shenanigans.

A good ride and deserved win by Dani.

Vale showed why he's the GOAT once again with 2 overtakes in 2 corners, fantastic ride and he looked more pleased with the Stoner battle than he did with his romp home at Mugello. Nice paint job on the bike, crap leathers tho.

Apart from the last few laps when Pedrosa slowed down (intentionally IMO cos he knew he'd won and didn't want to bin it as per practice!), nobody got down to Pedrosa's race pace. Even if Vale head been on his back wheel in to the first corner, Pedrosa was pulling away by almost a second a lap.

Id say 4 riders. Lorenzo is still ahead of stoner in points! If he stays on the bike he will be in a strong position to get a top 3 finish in the championship! As long as his injuries dont pull him down... which has a good chance of happening. :(

Toseland after he wins the nexxt two rounds will be doing ok... :p
