RIP - Neil Edge

Those of you from Stoke may have known Neil and if you went to Bryan's Motorcycle Training you would have known Neil. Neil was an Instructor with Bryan's and was a great help to me whilst I was doing my instructor training.

Neil died on Thursday doing what he loved - riding his bike. He was over in the Isle of Man.

Real sad news RIP. Always a shame to hear these accidents at the Island, also a fellow motorcycle instructor.

RIP dint know him but hes one of us as opposed to one of them.

seems to happen all to often on the island this, usualy two bikes hitting head on i mean whats that about? i new a guy who got wiped out by a foreign rider coming the other way on the wrong side of the road smashed him up good style although he did come away with his life. Puts me off going to the tt to many head the balls on the roads.

Very sad to hear this. Neil taught me to ride back in October '06 and was such a sound guy. I've seen him a couple of times since and he always seemed full of enthusiasm for motorcycles, almost like he'd only just discovered they exist, I think he lived and breathed them.
As an instructor he really was an exponent of teaching to ride rather than just teaching to pass DAS. I can't stress how highly I value his efforts to help me over that (albeit short) period. Top guy will be missed by many I'm sure.

RIP Neil, very sad to hear of this. Condolences to his friends and family. Terrible waste of a good life, he did so much to help so many people stay safe on the roads. very bad.
