Hi,

Haynes manual is always a good investment anyway. ICS do a homestudy course combined with the Institute of the Motor Industry. Costs a bit but I thought it was worth it when I did it. Gateshead college may also be doing a part time course which would give you an 'official' qualification (I'm still waiting to find out if and when it will start as I want to do it)

Hope that helps;)

Nik you're better getting involved with the members of the Pennine Massive as there are quite a few of us around here with bikes and we are always doing stuff with them.

In fact, I have a project you could cut your teeth on........;)

Absolutely. I'm always up for helping/guiding a bit of spannering, on bikes or cars. I offer my time and tools for no more than beer tokens.
