So I didn't panick buy and
There is no bloody diesel to be had. Car computer says I have 6 miles left. Dare I go out trying other filing stations. I have tried all in about a 3 mile radius.
The daughter borrowed car over the weekend and brought it back empty saying she couldn't find anywhere last night |

Re: So I didn't panick buy and
During the fuel blockade, we were able to fill as "essential workers" but they used the motorway service at their exorbitant prices

Re: So I didn't panick buy and
I didn't panic buy either. I was perfectly calm as I filled up both cars and the bike. And I'm glad I did cos Sainbos are out of fuel this morning. The BP station nearby is not but they're 5p a litre pricier.

Re: So I didn't panick buy and
I filled up Friday, didn't use the bike all weekend cos it was in bits, glad I haven't but I now know somewhere where I can get some until at least Wednesday, unless everyone uses my idea.

Re: So I didn't panick buy and
We filled up the car on Saturday as it was getting low. Nowhere in Yeovil had any Diesel at all yesterday.
Its the people that are panic buying hyped up by the media scaremongering that have caused the actual fuel shortage. |
Re: So I didn't panick buy and
Hmm. just realise that plod no longer have their own tanks of fuel and must use the filing stations as well.
Are they going to be ordered back walking to the beat. or just sit in the canteen waiting for jobs that justify using the reserves of fuel in their tanks? |
