Not sure where in Brighton you'll be or how far you want to go ?

but a nice little run is,

A27-> Lewes stay on it until the A26, turn left, through the tunnel, follow the A26, Turn right onto the B2192, stay on that right up to Blackboys, straight on there onto the B2102 and follow that, just before the A267, turn right onto Back lane (small road), forth turning on your right will be Hanging Birch lane, take that, leading onto the A267, Turn right here and follow through to Horam and make a stop at Wessons cafe ( it's just up the B2203 about 30 yrds).

after lunch follow the A267 down and turn off at the A22 (right), first or ssecond turning on the left is Coldharbour road (signed towards upper Dicker), take that one, over the A27 ( you could just cut right here and it leads you back to Brighton if you wanted), follow the main road down to Seaford and you'll hit the A259, turn right, this is the coast road and will bring you back to Brighton.

It's probably about 55-60 miles in total, but some of those roads are quite small so don't expect to be blatting to much, not counting lunch a couple of hours tops.

HTH

Cheers Mark.

Cheers Mark,

I'll be in the Holiday Inn at the seafront :) Accumulated travel miles allow for a bit of "high class" hotel LOL

thanks for the suggestion I will put it on a map and see where it gets me

it's this weekend mate yes. I'll be leaving M'cr on Friday around 3pm......not sure I want to get in London though :) Most of the time I get lost, worry that I'll get run over by someone else and it gets a bit frustrating :)

That should put you in London at about 6 or 7 right?

Just head to the Ace Cafe (get to the end of the M1, turn right onto the North Circular and follow it.

Could easily get you a guide from there to Soho if you wanted.

Then a guide to South London and the road to Brighton.

Just some options :)

road between a27 at beddingham and a259 at newhaven should be checked out too. Watch for dirty roads by the waste disposal place but otherwise it's 3 or 4 miles of high speed corners and fun.

My most favorite peice of road in the world; the A26. That bit by the waste disposal place is awesome to go through fast, specialy when heading north up the road - drop in and as you hit the bottom to come up and out the toher side the bike compresses and goes really heavy. I once rode along their on my scooter, and as I was coming back southbound, a guy on an R1 came out of that dip absolutly gunning it. I wish I was sat by the side with a camera
