free holiday?
Found this post on another forum.
Basically, if you've not been riding long and might be interested in buying a 600 sports bike then youu can ask them to let you play on their bikes for 2 days, all hotel bills, fuel and food covered by the Journalist. http://www.therevcounter.com/motorbi...preferred.html |
Re: free holiday?

Re: free holiday?
How do they know how long you have been riding?!!? ... will they ask to see your licence or just take your word for it you have only past your test 2 months ago!?!? :^o :D

Re: free holiday?
They will ask to see your license before you ride their bikes, but does it state the date you passed your test on there?
Mine is an old paper one which would give the game away I think |

Oooohh. When I got diagnosed with diabetes in February I had to surrender my licence. When it was re-issued, it said it was valid from April this year so techically I've only had my licence 2 months instead of 11 years. Could be worth a punt. |
Re: free holiday?
Actually I wouldnt mind a couple of days thrashing someone elses bikes around the peak district all paid for.
But I seem to be commited at work those days too. I need to be commited to work where I do. |
Re: free holiday?
yes licence tells date you passed, but doesn't tell your experience, so just blag that you haven't ridden much.
tempted.... what's the insurance excess :smt102 |
