It always rains at Donningon. Thats why we're staying in a hotel and not camping :p

Or on the way home. It was roasting hot and sunny a couple of years ago, 2006 i think it was, but i got soaked on the way in a storm and coming home ended up sheltering on a disused garage forecourt with a load of other bikes in an awesome storm (hail, thunder, lightning) :(

There goes my plan of sleeping during the morning practice. 5am start for me so I was planning on getting some kip down near craner curves. (I am not camping I hasten to add!) Guess the good thing about not having already bought my ticket is that if it is pouring down in the morning I can always stay at home. I don't mind riding in the rain...but I have my limits!!

I don't fancy riding down in the wet, it raining all day and then having to ride home in the wet. I would be a right state by the time I get home.

I guess the good thing about not having bought my ticket yet is that I can always stay at home !! :D

Me and gramps were planning to do override for the experience this year but now we are just gonna set off early on the Sunday and let him run in his brand spanker speed triple in white ;)

I'm camping friday to monday so keeping an beady eye on the weather...

It might not be too bad....
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Cloud and outbreaks of rain spreading northwards on Saturday. Brighter on Sunday and Monday with occasional sunshine but also showers, some heavy or prolonged.
