is this likely to just need a replacement indicator bulb

Noticed my left fron indicator is not flashing and my back left is blinking at twice the normal rate - is this likely to be just a blown bulb?

If so where's a good place online to get bulbs for an SV650S K5 (and does the year matter)

P.s. I know this may be an obvious question but I'm a newbie

Put your hazards on and walk round the bike - you'll soon know if it's a bulb or not ;-) (it probably is).

Halfrauds or any garage will see you for a new one.

Mine ( naked curvey ) had same symptoms.
It worked if I hit it, so was able to get home.
Bulb OK so cleaned connection & its worked for about 3 months since.

Excellent I like the idea of smacking it to get it to work (like fonzie).

Is it easy to get to the indicator bulbs?

As mentioned give the contacts a good clean, and at the same time have a look at the bulb if it is blown then pop down to any car parts shop as the indicator bulbs are very common motor vehicle bulbs!

Same problem happened to mine.... Halfords do them.... If that doesnt work then check the wiring.. i ended up having to buy a whole new light as the wiring was loose!
